Interactive projection that adapts to the activity

omiVista Budii Flip combines the compact Budii interactive projector with the mobile, electrically adjustable Flip Stand. Unlike a fixed installation, the same system can be moved between spaces and its projection orientation changed according to the activity and the users.

The Flip Stand allows the equipment to be easily positioned for projection onto the floor or a table, a wall or the ceiling. Electric height adjustment makes it possible to adapt the position of the system to the selected projection mode.

This versatility makes Budii Flip particularly useful in centres where the same equipment needs to be used with different groups, in different rooms or for activities requiring different projection positions.

Floor, table, wall and ceiling projection

The different positions of the Flip Stand considerably extend the possibilities of Budii:

• Floor or table: interactive activities can be explored with hands, feet or suitable objects.
• Wall: interactive projection allows users to participate directly when the projected surface is within reach.
• Ceiling: provides a visual projection mode for non-interactive content and is particularly useful when the projection needs to be viewed from a lying or reclined position.

The ceiling mode should not be confused with interactive projection: interaction requires the user to be able to physically reach the projected surface.

For best interactive results, the projection surface should be smooth, light-coloured and free from patterns.

120 applications adapted to your needs

HANDYCAT supplies the system with a collection of 120 interactive applications. When ordering, you can choose between:

• Care Suite, particularly suitable for older people and services focused on care, wellbeing and cognitive stimulation.
• Sensory Suite, particularly suitable for multisensory environments, intellectual disabilities, mental health and activities based on sensory exploration and participation.

Choosing the suite allows the content to be adapted to the profile of the users, the environment and the objectives of the intervention. HANDYCAT can advise you on the most suitable option.

The applications are organised in a clear, colour-coded menu and controlled using the remote control.

• Autoplay runs the selected applications sequentially.
• Interaction pause makes it possible to temporarily stop the response to encourage communication, anticipation and turn-taking.
• Each application includes a name, description and guidance for use.

Interactive effects and games

In addition to the 120 applications in the selected suite, Budii Flip incorporates the interactive effects Ambient, Quiz, Scatter, Sort, Splat, Trail, Water, Wipe and Zones, together with Catch Games and Ball Games.

These resources extend the possibilities of the system for activities involving sensory exploration, movement, attention, participation and social interaction.

This standard Budii Flip version does not include SmartView, content editability, Double Splat or the Memory Bundle, which are available in higher versions of the Budii Flip range.

The Flip Stand

The Flip Stand is what makes this version particularly versatile. It combines:

Support and warranty

All system components are covered by a two-year warranty. During this period, HANDYCAT provides remote technical and user support by telephone and email.

In the event of an issue, the customer should disconnect the equipment from the power supply and inform HANDYCAT. If the problem cannot be resolved remotely, HANDYCAT can arrange the supply of a replacement component or an on-site technical intervention. Travel expenses incurred by our technical staff are not included in the product price.
