Interactive projection that adapts to the activity

omiVista+ Budii Flip Gold Edition combines the compact Budii interactive projector with the mobile, electrically adjustable Flip Stand. The same system can be moved between spaces and repositioned to project onto the floor or a table, onto a wall or towards the ceiling.

The Gold Edition adds content editing and personalisation, Smart View and Double Splat to the standard Budii Flip functions, considerably extending the possibilities for adapting the equipment to different users, activities and environments.

Floor, table, wall and ceiling projection

The different positions of the Flip Stand considerably extend the possibilities of Budii:

• Floor or table: interactive activities can be explored with hands, feet or suitable objects.
• Wall: interactive projection allows users to participate directly when the projected surface is within reach.
• Ceiling: provides a visual, non-interactive projection mode that can be particularly useful for users in a lying or reclined position.

Interaction requires the user to be able to physically reach the projected surface. Ceiling projection is therefore visual rather than interactive.

With Smart View, the ceiling position becomes especially versatile, as images, videos and other content from a compatible external HDMI device can be displayed through the Budii.

For best interactive results, the projection surface should be smooth, light-coloured and free from patterns.

120 applications adapted to your needs

HANDYCAT supplies the system with a collection of 120 interactive applications. When ordering, you can choose between:

• Care Suite, particularly suitable for older people and services focused on care, wellbeing and cognitive stimulation.
• Sensory Suite, particularly suitable for multisensory environments, intellectual disabilities, mental health and activities based on sensory exploration and participation.

Choosing the suite allows the content to be adapted to the profile of the users, the environment and the objectives of the intervention. HANDYCAT can advise you on the most suitable option.

The applications are organised in a clear, colour-coded menu and controlled using the remote control.

• Autoplay runs the selected applications sequentially.
• Interaction pause makes it possible to temporarily stop the response to encourage communication, anticipation and turn-taking.
• Each application includes a name, description and guidance for use.

What does the Gold Edition add?

In addition to the standard Budii Flip functions, the Gold Edition incorporates:

• Editability: compatible activities can be personalised by adding your own images, videos and content to create experiences adapted to particular users, interests, environments or objectives.
• Smart View: allows a compatible external HDMI device to be connected to display images, videos and other content through the Budii.
• Double Splat: an additional interactive game that extends the games already included with Budii.

The combination of editability and Smart View makes it possible both to personalise interactive activities and to use the projector for external audiovisual content.

Interactive effects and games

Budii Flip Gold incorporates the interactive effects Ambient, Quiz, Scatter, Sort, Splat, Trail, Water, Wipe and Zones.

It also includes Catch Games, Ball Games and Double Splat, providing additional possibilities for activities involving movement, attention, coordination, participation and shared play.

The Flip Stand

The Flip Stand provides the system with its distinctive versatility. It combines:

• Mobility for moving the equipment between different spaces.
• Electric height adjustment.
• Adjustable orientation for floor/table, wall and ceiling projection.
• A single support system for changing the projection position without requiring a fixed installation.

Together with the functions of the Gold Edition, this allows the same equipment to be used for interactive activities on accessible surfaces and for visual content in positions such as ceiling projection.

Support and warranty

All system components are covered by a two-year warranty. During this period, HANDYCAT provides remote technical and user support by telephone and email.

In the event of an issue, the customer should disconnect the equipment from the power supply and inform HANDYCAT. If the problem cannot be resolved remotely, HANDYCAT can arrange the supply of a replacement component or an on-site technical intervention. Travel expenses incurred by our technical staff are not included in the product price.
