Warmth, body support and sensory experience

The water mattress combines warmth, body support and the distinctive properties of water to create a particularly comfortable and enveloping sensory surface. Water distributes itself naturally around the body, allowing the mattress to adapt continuously to the user's shape and position.

This produces a pronounced proprioceptive and body-awareness experience: the body feels supported and contained over a large contact surface, regardless of the stability level selected.

Unlike materials that retain an impression after pressure, water has no shape memory. The mattress adapts to each user and each new position without retaining the previous body shape.

The integrated heating system maintains the water at a comfortable temperature and includes a heating element with thermostat and temperature control, together with a safety cover.

Softside construction

The mattress has a reinforced foam perimeter (softside) that provides lateral support and contains the water bag without the need for the rigid frame traditionally associated with waterbeds.

The complete assembly includes:

  • Reinforced softside foam perimeter.
  • Internal water bag.
  • Heating element with thermostat and temperature control.
  • Safety cover for the heating system.
  • Outer cover containing and protecting the complete mattress.

Choosing the size

Two sizes are available:

  • 100 × 200 cm: compact format, particularly suitable for individual use and where available space is limited.
  • 140 × 200 cm: provides a larger surface and greater freedom of use, especially when more room around the user or assisted use is desirable.

Choosing the stability level

The stability level affects the movement of the water, not the mattress's ability to adapt to and support the body. All three versions therefore provide the characteristic enveloping support of a water mattress.

  • F0 — Free movement: water moves freely, providing the most pronounced movement experience.
  • F3 — Partial stabilisation: reduces the movement and its duration while retaining a clearly perceptible water response.
  • F5 — High stabilisation: substantially limits water movement, providing a calmer and more stable experience while retaining the enveloping body support characteristic of water.

The choice between F0, F3 and F5 should therefore be based mainly on how much movement is appropriate or desirable for the user, rather than on the degree of body support.

Installation on a suitable base

The water mattress must be installed on a flat, stable and suitable supporting base. It should not be placed directly on the floor. A suitable base provides proper support for the mattress and facilitates its correct installation and use.
