A complete system: just add the effect

We have configured this Solar 100 kit with the three elements required to project effect wheels: projector, lens and rotator. This means you do not have to worry about compatibility or discover later that an essential component is missing.

Simply choose the 6" effect wheel or wheels you want to use.

The kit includes:

• Solar 100 projector: powerful, quiet and specifically designed for effect projection.
• 85 mm lens: provides a more concentrated projection and is particularly suitable when there is sufficient distance between the projector and the projection surface.
• Active Gate variable-speed and reversible rotator: allows you to adjust the rotation speed and choose clockwise or anticlockwise rotation. It is powered directly by the projector, with no additional power cable.

Why a variable-speed rotator?

Speed is part of the effect. The same wheel can create very different sensations depending on whether it moves slowly or more quickly and, particularly with liquid effects, small changes in speed can noticeably alter the visual result.

Being able to adjust the speed and reverse the direction of rotation makes it easier to adapt each effect to the atmosphere and experience you want to create.

85 mm or 60 mm lens?

The lens determines the size of the image obtained at a given distance.

With the 85 mm lens, the width of the projection is approximately half the distance: at 2 metres, approximately 1 metre wide; at 3 metres, 1.5 metres; and at 4 metres, about 2 metres.

In many multisensory rooms, however, we recommend the 60 mm lens, as it provides a larger image at a shorter distance. It is particularly convenient when the dimensions of the room do not allow the projector to be positioned far away.

The 85 mm lens is a good choice when more distance is available or when the projection needs to be concentrated on a smaller surface.

Now choose your effects

You can complete the projector with liquid effect wheels, picture effect wheels or a customisable wheel and change them whenever you wish.

Effects can be projected onto walls, ceilings, screens and other suitable surfaces. Distance, ambient light and the characteristics of the surface also influence the result.
