Interactive projection for memory and cognitive stimulation

Configuration and price on request. omiVista+ Install Gold Memory Edition is a professional system whose configuration and installation must be adapted to each space. HANDYCAT assesses the ceiling height, projection surface, intended users and expected use to prepare a tailored proposal.

What is the Gold Memory Edition?

It combines the permanent interactive projection of omiVista Install with editable omiSurface software, SmartView and the Memory Care Bundle.

The system is fixed to the ceiling or installed immediately below it. It provides instant access to activities projected onto the floor, a table or both surfaces when the installation conditions allow it.

The unit remains protected and out of reach, occupies no floor space and needs no storage. Automatic focusing and the wireless remote control make it quick and easy to start each session.

Memory Care Bundle

The Memory Care Bundle comprises:

• Puzzle: activities based on recognising and reconstructing images.
• Match: activities involving association and visual matching.
• Sort Pro: activities involving classification and organisation.

These resources can support attention, visual recognition, memory, association and cognitive stimulation. They are particularly valuable when working with older people or people with dementia, although they can also be adapted to other users and abilities.

Editable activities

The omiSurface editable software allows professionals to personalise existing activities and create new content adapted to specific users, objectives, interests or environments.

It can be used to introduce familiar and meaningful content, supporting reminiscence, personal recognition and the sharing of experiences.

SmartView

SmartView allows images and audiovisual content from a compatible external HDMI source to be displayed through the projection system.

Content displayed through SmartView is not converted into an interactive omiSurface activity.

Included activities

The system also includes 200 ready-to-use activities from one of these suites:

• Care Suite: particularly suitable for older people, dementia care and support environments.
• Sensory Suite: particularly suitable for mental health, intellectual disability and sensory stimulation.

HANDYCAT helps select the most appropriate suite according to the users, setting and intended outcomes.

Interaction and participation

Users can transform interactive activities through their movements, hands or suitable activity accessories. When projecting onto a table, participants can gather around all four sides.

Support and warranty

The system components are covered by a two-year warranty. During this period, HANDYCAT provides remote technical and user support by telephone and email.

If the incident cannot be resolved remotely, HANDYCAT can arrange a replacement component or an on-site technical intervention. Technician travel costs are quoted separately.
